Becoming a WARRIOR (not a Wimp) for Christ

Pastor Reb Bradley

I. God’s view of the single Christian

1 Cor 7:32 I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord's affairs--how he can please the Lord. 33 But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world--how he can please his wife -- 34 and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord's affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world--how she can please her husband. 35 I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict you, but that you may live in a right way in undivided devotion to the Lord.

A. They are potentially God's most ____________________

B. They are to be ________ those older and younger

1 Tim 4:12 Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.

Come and share your master's happiness!'

Mat 9:37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

2 Cor 5:9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
